A LOOK BACK AT COMIC-CON 2007
Title Sponsor of the 2007 Comic-Con Masquerade:
Cosplay
All ages and interests can get in on costuming. Some people prefer to
adventure around the convention itself in their costumes (referred
to in the past as "Hall Costumes" but now called "Cosplay").
You can learn more about Cosplay in the article in
Update #1 for 2006, which
you can get online!
Here are just a few of the Cosplayers that were seen at Comic-Con 2006.

The 2007 Masquerade Winners!
Last night the Masquerade thrilled an audience of 4,000 that once again filled
Ballroom 20 to capacity. Those that were unable to find a seat in the ballroom
were could watch the show on large projection screens in the Sail Pavilion and
in Room 6AB. There were fifty-one entries in the show, totaling over one hundred
great costumes crossing the stage! The Masters of Ceremonies were Phil Foglio
and Kaja Foglio, and the panel of judges included Diane Duncan, Dragon
Dronet, Wanda Piety, Jeanne Clason, and Max Cervantes. Our sincere
thanks to these professionals for donating their time and skills to help entertain
the crowd of thousands. The audience was treated to special movie previews before
the show and during intermission an elaborate production staged by the JING
Institute of Chinese Martial Arts & Culture.
