Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival 2015 Call For Entries
The Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival (CCI-IFF) will begin accepting submissions for its 2015 festival, to be held July 9-12 during Comic-Con International at the San Diego Convention Center, on October 1, 2014. The deadline for entries is February 2, 2015.
Judged by a panel of industry luminaries, the CCI-IFF accepts genre-related films in the following categories: Action/Adventure, Animation, Comics-Oriented, Documentary (Pop Culture–Related), Horror/Suspense, Humor, and Science Fiction/Fantasy. Awards and prizes will be given out at Comic-Con, with film screenings all four days of the event.
Entries will be accepted from Oct. 1, 2014 until Feb. 2, 2015. All submitted films must be postmarked between those dates. Film submissions must include the completed entry form to be eligible for consideration.

Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival 2014 Schedule
The Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival (CCI-IFF) returns as part of Comic-Con International for its 15th year. The CCI-IFF once again features a complete schedule of films from around the world, including the United States, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, New Zealand, Philippines, Russia, South Korea, Spain, and Trinidad and Tobago.
The Festival features the very best in genre films in seven categories: Action/Adventure, Animation, Comics-Oriented, Documentary (Pop Culture-Oriented), Horror/Suspense, Humor/Parody, and Science Fiction/Fantasy. The films have been judged by a panel of industry luminaries (click here for more info ), including last year's winner Dave Gallegos, actor Doug Jones, and noted cosplayer and Film School co-head Valerie Perez. Awards will be given out to the best film in each category, plus an overall “Judges’ Choice” award, on Sunday in the Film Festival room. The award recipients’ films will be rescreened on Sunday following the awards ceremony.
All films will be screened at the San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina, next to the Convention Center, on the north end (Hall A) of the center. The Film Festival room is Marriott Hall 2. Marriott Hall is located at the far (north) end of the Marriott main lobby. The schedule also includes the return of the popular ongoing panel series Comic-Con Film School, plus additional film-related panels on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during the day.
