Brent Anderson’s work is well known for its focus on character. Brent's professional career began at Marvel in 1979 with Ka-zar the Savage and the Marvel graphic novel X-Men “God Loves, Man Kills.” Since then he has created or co-created the series Somerset Holmes, Strikeforce: Morituri, and the Eisner Award-winning Astro City. He is currently working on a new cycle of Astro City stories scheduled to be published by DC Comics in 2013, as well as several personal graphic novel projects in collaboration with writer Shirley Johnston: El Jaguár; Tecknight: Jar of Ashes; and Good Mother Dinosaur.
