Comic-Con International is proud to announce this years judging panel has been named for the 2010 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards. 1-Day Memberships Go On Sale December 15

In Memoriam - Shel Dorf

Shel Dorf's love of comic books and their creators had no equal. It was his appreciation of this art form and his keen foresight that helped to create what is Comic-Con. It is with a heavy heart that we -- the Board of Directors, Committee, Staff and Volunteers of Comic-Con -- mourn the passing or our dear friend Shel. 2010 Film Festival Submissions Open Dec. 1!

The Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival (CCI-IFF) will open to submissions starting December 1. The deadline for submitting films is March 15, 2010. All film submissions must be be accompanied by the official entry form and postmarked between Dec. 1, 2009 and March 15, 2010. The official rules and entry form will be posted on this page on or before Dec. 1. Please check back for more information.

Attendee Preview Night Memberships are Sold Out

Because of the increasing number of attendees on Preview Night each year, we have decided to limit attendance for Preview Night in 2010. It is impossible to accommodate every person who registers for a four-day badge on Preview Night, so we made available four-day memberships with and without the Preview Night option. While no more Preview Night badges are currently available, regular four-day memberships are still available.

Wouldn't you love to see your favorite comics retailer receive coveted Will Eisner "Spirit of Comics" Retailer Award? Now's your chance to help them by nominating them for the 2010 Award online. Remember, past winners are not eligible. Get complete details for Guidelines and Judging Criterion on our website. It only takes a few minutes of your time to help recognize the outstanding retailer in your community. The deadline for submissions is April 16, 2010. The award will be presented at the gala Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards at Comic-Con International on Friday, July 23, 2010.
