We are all aware that Comic-Con, at times, can be an overwhelming experience: the crowds, the costumes, the panels … and all that stuff to look at and maybe even BUY! So schedule yourself some quiet time, or jump at it when it becomes readily apparent that you need a break. If you roam up to the Mezzanine level (remember … we showed you how to do that in this post?), you can go out on the terrace of the Convention Center and get a relaxing view of the Big Bay and the Marina. There are green areas back there that offer a bit of an oasis. Most of the hotels around the Convention Center offer lobby space where you can chill for a bit, or even grab a bite to eat or something to drink while you decompress. And as the photo above shows, there's Seaport Village just behind the Convention Center, and north of the Marriott and the Hyatt. There’s a lot to do and see at Comic-Con … but don’t forget to take a break and sit down and enjoy some quiet time!
