Laura Allred
Highly regarded as one of the best colorists in comics, Laura
Allred can be regularly found coloring husband Mike’s work, including
Madman, Solo and their latest joint effort, The Golden Plates.
Mike Allred
One of the most popular artists in comics, Mike Allred is best known for his
creation, Madman. Allred has also self-published his popular series
The Atomics, and done work for Marvel (X-Static), Dark Horse
(Red Rocket 7) and DC (Solo). His current project is The Golden
Plates, a comics adaptation of The Book of Mormon.

Sergio Aragonés
He's back! The fastest cartoonist on earth, Sergio Aragonés, returns to WonderCon.
The fan-favorite artist of Mad and Groo is a WonderCon perennial
guest and will be featured on panels and sketching his heart out in
Artists' Alley all weekend long.

Chris Bachalo
One of comics' most popular artists, Chris Bachalo's career started off
with an issue of Sandman, beginning a memorable collaboration with
Neil Gaiman. Chris also worked on Gaiman's two mini-series featuring the
Endless character, Death. He co-created Steampunk with writer Joe
Kelly. He went on to memorable runs on Marvel's Generation X and
the recent 10th anniversary of Age of Apocalypse mini-series. He
is currently drawing Uncanny X-Men, written by Chris Claremont.

Frank Cho
His Liberty Meadows was a hit as both a syndicated comic strip and a
comic book from Image Comics. But fans know — and love — Frank Cho best for
his dynamic art style and his mastery of the human form, particularly the
female form! Frank’s recent stint on Shanna the She-Devil and his
work on Spider-Man have brought him a new legion of fans.

Peter David
One of the most popular writers in comics, Peter David is currently penning
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and X-Factor for Marvel Comics,
while over at IDW he has Spike: Old Times and the return of his
popular Fallen Angel series. Beyond the comics scene, David is also
known for his many movie and TV tie-in novels, including works based on
Spider-Man and Star Trek.

Ramona Fradon
As one of the few female artists of the Silver Age at DC, Ramona Fradon
is best known for her work on Aquaman and that wonky '60s creation,
Metamorpho. A fan favorite at conventions, Ramona is also well
known for her beautiful sketches and artwork.

Erik Larsen
One of the founding fathers of Image Comics,
Erik Larsen's popular Savage Dragon is also one of the company's
longest-running titles. Erik first jumped to stardom with a memorable run on Amazing Spider-Man,
before joining Image. In addition to his writing and art duties on
Savage Dragon, Erik is also now the publisher of Image Comics.

Mike Mignola
Mike Mignola's quirky art and supernatural writing made the successful
Hellboy comic book into a major movie and household name. His

Frank Miller
Frank Miller’s 20-plus years in comics includes a variety of notable
contributions including a memorable run on Daredevil, in which
he created the character Elektra. He rose to national prominence for
his long-time association with Batman that includes the groundbreaking
graphic novels The Dark Knight Returns, its sequel
The Dark Knight Strikes Again, plus Batman Year One and the
current best-seller All Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder.
Miller’s own creation, Sin City, became a big-screen phenomenon
last year, when the graphic novel series was adapted to a critically
acclaimed feature directed by Miller, Robert Rodriguez, and Quentin
Tarantino. Sin City 2 is currently in the works and a movie
adaptation of Miller’s Spartan epic graphic novel, 300, is due
out next year.

Terry Moore
Terry Moore's self-published Strangers In Paradise is an indy
publishing success story, still going strong after more than 10 years.

Grant Morrison
One of the most popular writers working in comics today comes to WonderCon for
the first time! Grant Morrison revitalized both JLA and the X-Men and has
since launched into an amazing part of his career with multiple books for DC
Comics, including the 30-part Seven Soliders series. As if that’s not
enough, Morrison teams with frequent collaborator, artist frank Quitely, for one
of the buzz books of 2005: All Star Superman!

Greg Rucka
One of the top writers in—and out—of comics today, Greg Rucka has just completed
runs on 2 of the 3 DC flagship characters, Superman and Wonder Woman. In addition,
the ground-breaking Gotham Central, which Rucka co-wrote with Ed Brubaker,
has come to an end. But don’t be sad: 2006 sees Rucka writing a new version of
Checkmate, an important factor in the Infinite Crisis storyline, and
taking over Supergirl. In addition, Queen and Country continues with
Oni Press, and Greg’s second novel of British agent Tara Chace, Private Wars,
just debuted to rave reviews.

Kevin Smith

returns to San Francisco. Currently finishing up the sequel to his first
film, Clerks, Kevin will spill the beans about the new film,
The Passion of the Clerks, in another of his mega-popular Q&A
sessions at WonderCon!

Mark Waid
One of comics fans’ favorite writers, Mark Waid is best known for his work at
DC Comics. His work includes a memorable run on The Flash, a revitalization

Superman: Birthright and many more. Waid is also regarded as one the
industry’s experts on comics history and trivia.

Gahan Wilson
The master of the macabre cartoon makes his first appearance at WonderCon!
Gahan Wilson’s cartoons have appeared in magazines such as Playboy
and The New Yorker. His memorable strip about growing up, Nuts,
was a regular feature in National Lampoon. Wilson’s work has been
collected in numerous books, including Still Weird and Even Weirder.

the Masquerade is on the third level on Saturday night.
