Creator, writer & artist Bone, RASL, Little Mouse Gets Ready
Jeff Smith entered the comics field with his 1991 self-published black-and-white comic book Bone, a multiple Eisner– and Harvey Award–winning comedy/fantasy that went on to sell millions of graphic novels in 25 languages around the world. In 2005, Bone was reissued in color by the world’s largest children’s book publisher Scholastic, and was chosen to launch the publisher’s graphic novel imprint Graphix. Recently Smith completed work on the serialized version of his second major project, the scifi/noir thriller RASL, as well being the subject of a documentary called The Cartoonist: Jeff Smith, Bone, and the Changing Face of Comics.
