Directions

The Fort Mason Center entrance is off Marina Blvd at Buchanan Street. Make sure you enter Fort Mason Center (not just Fort Mason) into your mapping application to get customized direction. General directions are provided below; download the map PDF (at left) for more info.

COMING FROM:

East Bay

Bay Bridge to Fremont Street Exit; on Fremont (100 yards north) take first right on Howard; left on Embarcadero & go 2 miles; left on Bay, about 2 miles.
Right on Buchanan.

Cross Marina Blvd. & sharp right into Fort Mason Center.

North Bay

Golden Gate Bridge (US 101) to Marina Exit; go 1.5 miles.
Turn left at Buchanan & turn right into Fort Mason Center.

Peninsula/South Bay

US 101 North to 9th St. Exit; 9th across Market & left on Hayes; right on Franklin; about 2 miles.
Turn left on Bay St, right on Buchanan. Cross Marina Blvd. & sharp right into Fort Mason Center

Truck Routes

Trucks and buses must follow the MUNI route. There are signs posted in the Marina District from Chestnut Street to Marina Blvd., Franklin Street to Baker Street stating that trucks and buses are not allowed. Any route taken other than the MUNI bus route will subject you to ticketing or fines.

Inbound from Downtown*

• Van Ness to Lombard
• Left on Lombard
• Right on Laguna
• Left on Bay
• Right on Buchanan
• Entrance – Buchanan at Marina Blvd., across from the Marina Safeway

Inbound from the Presidio/ Golden Gate Bridge*

• From The Main Post
• Right on Lincoln (turns into Presidio which turns into Lombard on the left)
• Exit Lombard Gate onto Lombard Street
• Left on Laguna (left turn ok between 10am-3pm weekdays - after 3pm on weekdays go right on Buchanan, left on Greenwich, left on Laguna…  Weekends, left turns ok anytime)
• Left on Bay
• Right on Buchanan
• Entrance – Buchanan at Marina Blvd., across from the Marina Safeway
• From Golden Gate Bridge
• Exit onto Lombard Street
• Follow directions above from Left on Laguna

• Straight on Buchanan St.
• Left on Bay St.
• Right on Laguna
• Left on Lombard

• Straight on Buchanan St.
