Reservations will not open until 9:00 AM PDT on April 15, 2026. If you try to access the waiting room early, it will take you to a page confirming you are in the right place and to check back when the waiting room opens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The link will grant you access to the waiting room up to one hour prior to the opening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To increase the likelihood of receiving our emails, please add <a href=\"mailto:donotreply@comic-con.org\">donotreply@comic-con.org<\/a> to your safe-senders list. The time you enter the waiting room between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM PDT has no impact on your position in line. At 9:00 AM PDT, all users in the waiting room will be granted access to the hotel reservation page in random order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We strongly encourage you to enter the waiting room between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM PDT. To be as prepared as possible, having the following ready:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-small-text\">\n<li>Preferred hotels, plus backup options<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payment method valid through August 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guest information and desired accommodations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A way to communicate with other guests to avoid duplicate bookings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Because reservations will now be made in real time, a non-refundable deposit equal to two nights\u2019 room rate plus tax is required at the time of booking. Guests will then be moved from the waiting room to the reservation page based on this order. Randomization will not take place until 9:00 AM PDT and is not based on the time at which you enter the waiting room before that point. No further randomization will take place throughout the process. Anyone accessing the link after 9:00 AM PDT will be placed at the end of the line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019ve reached the hotel reservation page, you can navigate the Hotel Gallery to search for available hotels, select your preferred option, and book your room in real time. At 9:00 AM PDT on the day of the sale, all users within the online waiting room will be assigned a random place in line. Guests will then be moved from the waiting room to the reservation page based on this order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once a guest reaches the reservation page, inventory is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Users identified as abusing site access may be permanently prevented from entering the housing experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong class=\"has-bold-text\">Do not open multiple browsers, tabs, or devices.<\/strong> Using multiple browsers, tabs, or devices at the same time to try to gain access may hurt your chances of successfully entering housing. This behavior can confuse the queue system and may result in errors, delays, or loss of access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong class=\"has-bold-text\">Do not refresh excessively<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong> Repeated or aggressive page refreshing while in the queue or during booking may cause you to lose your place or encounter system errors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong class=\"has-bold-text\">Do not share your access link.<\/strong> Housing access links are intended for individual use only. Please ensure the credit card you use to book your hotel expires in August 2026 or later.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Is inventory updated in real time?<\/summary>\n<p>Yes. The hotel availability will update&nbsp;in real time as rooms are booked by other participants. If a hotel sells out, it will no longer appear as available in the Hotel Gallery.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>What if my selected rooms sell out before my reservation is submitted?<\/summary>\n<p>Because inventory is first-come, first-served, availability may change before you complete your information. If your selected room becomes unavailable, you will be notified and prompted to restart your search. Your demographic information will be saved, so you won\u2019t need to re-enter it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Have your credit card information ready, as it will be required to complete your reservation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please keep in mind, not all badge holders will be able to secure a hotel reservation during the sale. There are more badge holders than rooms available.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>What if my payment declines?<\/summary>\n<p>If your payment declines, you will receive an email notification with an opportunity to submit a new form of payment. If your payment is not successfully resubmitted after 72 hours, your reservation will be canceled.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Can changes be made after I book?<\/summary>\n<p>Change and cancellation policies vary by hotel. Any change to a reservation that increases the required hotel deposit amount, such as extending the length of stay, changing to a more expensive room type, changing hotels, etc., will incur an additional non-refundable service and technology fee in the amount of 3.5% of the additional deposit amount. All charges will appear as &#8220;Comic-Con 2026 Hotels&#8221; on the user&#8217;s credit card statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Full payment will be due for your hotel reservation(s) at the time of check-out.
