Although we encourage you to read all of the information below and bookmark Toucan – the official blog of Comic-Con and WonderCon for important Comic-Con Special Edition announcements, here are the top tips:

  • You can purchase badges for up to three people – yourself included – if you are randomly selected for a registration session.

  • Each person must have their own confirmed Comic-Con Member ID. In order to purchase a badge for another attendee, you will need their last name and Member ID.

  • Only use one browser tab or instance when trying to purchase badges. Multiple tabs within the same browser can confuse the waiting room/badge sale process and cause your transaction to fail.

Bonus! All attendees who purchase a badge for Comic-Con Special Edition will be automatically eligible to participate in Comic-Con 2023 Returning Registration next year!


ELIGIBILITY

Comic-Con Special Edition 2021 is open to the general public. The only eligibility requirement is that you have a valid and confirmed Member ID account. If you need to confirm the email account associated with your Comic-Con Member ID, please CLICK HERE

**Children (12 and under) are free with a paying adult. Juniors (age 13 -17) pay junior prices. Seniors (age 60 years and older) pay the Military/Senior reduced price. Active-duty military with ID pays the Military/Senior price. The Military/Senior pricing does not extend to military veterans and dependents. 

All badges are subject to a processing fee of $8.50 per member.


RECOMMENDED BROWSERS/COMPUTER SETTINGS

Attempting to purchase badges using multiple tabs within the same browser will confuse the badge sale system and cause your transaction to fail. Only use one browser tab when trying to purchase badges.

Your browser should have JavaScript and cookies enabled to function reliably with the waiting room and badge registration system. These features are usually enabled in the default configuration of most modern web browsers. If you do not have these features enabled, the waiting room application will not function properly.

A note about mobile devices: The badge registration system is not formatted for iPad or mobile devices. Although mobile devices have been tested and can be used to register for a badge during attendee registration, Comic-Con is unable to guarantee that the registration system will behave as expected using a mobile device.

 


 

REGISTRATION SESSION

To begin a registration session, you will need to enter an eligible Comic-Con Member ID and LAST NAME. Do not enter your Member ID password. You do not need to enter your own Member ID and last name if you do not wish to purchase a badge — you can purchase for three total members, and they do not have to include yourself. 

If your Member ID will not validate, it could be one of the reasons below:

  • Verify you have entered the Member ID and LAST NAME correctly. Do not enter the Member ID password. Please try again and be sure to enter any special character like an accent or eñe. 

  • The Member ID may have already been confirmed in another registration session, may currently be in use in another registration session, or may have already been used to purchase a badge.

  • Your Comic-Con Member ID account email may be unconfirmed. Please CLICK HERE to confirm your email address. 


AVOID THE BACK BUTTON

Before you leave the badge selection page, make sure you have all of your desired members in your cart. You will not be able to go back and add additional members after you leave this page! You’ll have a few options to remove a member during the registration process.

Please do not use your browser’s back button during any step of your registration session! Comic-Con cannot guarantee that your registration session will behave as expected if you use your back button during any step of the registration process.


CREDIT CARD INFORMATION

Comic-Con accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express only. We do not accept PayPal or any other type of online payment system. If your debit card has a Visa or MasterCard logo, you will be able to use it for purchase.

Make sure that you are entering the address and contact information associated with the credit cardholder. This is not your badge shipping address. Badges will not be shipped for Comic-Con Special Edition.
