SUMMARY:SCIENCE ON SCREEN MOVIE SERIES
DESCRIPTION:SCIENCE ON SCREEN MOVIE SERIES\n\n\n\nJoin us for a screening of Fantastic Four: First Steps featuring commentary by Dr. Clifford Johnson\, a science consultant on the film. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAs part of the Science on Screen movie series\, Comic-Con Museum presents three films accompanied by panel discussions with scientists. Dive deep into the real science behind extreme weather\, super powers\, and even dragons! \n\n\n\n\nPurchase Tickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBelieve it or not\, there’s some real science in superhero movies. When crafting a story about super-powered humans on an alternate Earth\, the team behind Fantastic Four: First Steps consulted physics professor Clifford Johnson. Dr. Johnson will join us in person to share insights about how his expertise helped shape the design and plot of the movie. How might teleportation and faster-than-light travel work? Can you surf a neutron star? We’ll explore the real-world physics written on screen in Reed Richards’s chalkboard scribbles and explore the important balance of science and imagination.
