Comic-Con Museum@Home Fun Book #33: AAPI Heritage in Comics

We’re celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month by recognizing the impact and influence of such comics creators as Nidhi Chanani, MariNaomi, Gene Luen Yang, Whilce Portacio, Jim Lee, Lynda Barry, Greg Pak and more! Learn about the comics and pop cultural works of Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander storytellers in this month’s Cross Purpose crossword and Dots & Boxes game sheet. Have fun coloring an illustration of a popular soft-serve snack known as taiyaki. Practice lettering skills by shading the names “Shang-Chi,” “Meimi” of the manga Saint Tail, and more in this month’s True Value activity sheet.

We’ve also included a World Play word search celebrating Jewish American creators in honor of Jewish American Heritage Month, and a craft activity filled with self care ideas in light of Mental Health Awareness month.
