The Playback Room at the Omni San Diego Hotel

We also want to remind you about our Playback Room over in the Omni San Diego Hotel. This will be the second big year for this “technological breakthrough,” where we rebroadcast some of the bigger panels of the day from Hall H and Ballroom 20, minus some of the top secret footage shown on the screens. If you don’t feel like standing in line for either of those rooms—or you just plain couldn’t get in—this is the perfect, calm, peaceful way to see some of these events.

The Playback Room is located offsite from the Convention Center at the Omni San Diego Hotel in the Grand Ballroom on the fourth floor. It’s easy to get to from the Convention Center: take the Harbor Drive Pedestrian Bridge over to the Omni, or simply exit the Convention Center at Lobby D and cross the street at Fifth Avenue to get to the Omni Hotel (it’s that big building by the trolley stop and attached to Petco Park). At the Omni Hotel, go to the fourth floor and look for the Grand Ballroom.

The Playback Room at the Omni will be open Thursday (11:00 AM–9:00 PM), Friday (10:30 AM–10:45 PM), and Saturday (10:30 AM–10:30 PM). Each of the 3 days will end with our famous “Playback Freeplay,” where you get to vote from a selection of Hall H and Ballroom 20 panels to decide what to view!
