#20/SDCC 2014: Introducing the Playback Room, plus the Saturday Programming Schedule is LIVE!
We’re 75% there! Today we posted the Saturday Programming Schedule (click here to read it!), so we’re almost done revealing the complete list of this year’s SDCC programs. And for those of you who can’t be in two places at once (or even one place at Comic-Con!), we have something new to tell you about: The Playback Room at the Omni San Diego Hotel!
Want to see the action in Hall H or Ballroom 20 but don’t want to have to worry about getting into two different rooms? We have an easy solution for you: Introducing the Playback Room, a new feature during Comic-Con International, which will let you see some of the panel content from both Hall H and Ballroom 20! Each day Comic-Con International will be re-broadcasting some of the day’s panels from those rooms.
Unlike our past panel playbacks in the evening, the Playback Room at the Omni will be open all day Thursday (10:30 AM–10:00 PM), Friday (10:30 AM–10:30 PM), and Saturday (10:00 AM–10:00 PM). Each of the 3 days will end with our famous “Playback Freeplay,” where you get to vote from a selection of Hall H and Ballroom 20 panels to decide what to view!
Please note: These rebroadcasts and playbacks will include only the panel discussions and special on-stage moments with the panelists. None of the film clips or footage shown at the live events will be shown here.
The Playback Room is located offsite from the Convention Center at the Omni San Diego Hotel in the Grand Ballroom on the fourth floor. It’s easy to get to from the Convention Center: take the Harbor Drive Pedestrian Bridge over to the Omni, or simply exit the Convention Center at Lobby D and cross the street at Fifth Avenue to get to the Omni Hotel (it’s that big building by the trolley stop and attached to Petco Park). At the Omni Hotel, go to the fourth floor and look for the Grand Ballroom.
Hey … who said there’s no such thing as a second chance?
