Badge Number Required for 2016 Attendee Preregistration!

Now that Comic-Con 2015 has ended, it’s time to make like Gollum and hold on to your precious, ahem, we mean your Comic-Con 2015 badge! You will need information from your physical badge to be eligible for Comic-Con 2016 Attendee Preregistration.

If you purchased an attendee badge for Comic-Con 2015, you may have noticed a “Badge Number” printed on the bottom. Please keep this number safe, as it is the key that will unlock Attendee Preregistration for you! Sometime soon you will receive a very important email from Comic-Con with instructions on how to validate your 2015 badge number online to qualify you for 2016 Attendee Preregistration. The validation period will only be open for a short window of time so keep an eye out for this very important email or bookmark the Toucan Blog and check it frequently.

If your Comic-Con 2015 badge does not have a badge number printed on the bottom, it is likely you attended under another category that is not eligible to participate in 2016 Attendee Preregistration. Professionals, guest of professionals, trade professionals, exhibitors (and exhibitor-purchased attendee badges), volunteers, staff, complimentary passes, and press are not eligible to participate in Attendee Preregistration. Online registration for these categories and first time attendees will occur at a later date.

Did your child attend Comic-Con 2015 but will now qualify for junior (age 13 and up) registration? Don’t fret! They too can validate their Comic-Con 2015 badge number online to be eligible to participate in Attendee Preregistration. Information on child badge number validation will be included in the upcoming email.

If you did not attend Comic-Con 2015, there will be another badge sale open to the general public in 2016. Only a portion of Comic-Con 2016 badges will be sold during Attendee Preregistration.
