Comic-Con Newsletter Goes to 1s and 0s and You Can Too!
With Comic Con@Home rapidly approaching, we're pleased to announce that the Comic-Con Newsletter, Comic-Con Today, will be available each full day of the show, and you don't even have to get out of line to read it. Each morning, Thursday, July 23–Sunday, July 26, an email edition of Comic-Con Today will be delivered to your inbox.
You'll find all the great stuff you've come to expect from Comic-Con Today, news, highlights and updates of all things happening at Comic-Con … @Home. We’ll have info on how to get the most out of Comic-Con@Home, Toucan Tips, and the Eisner Awards and Virtual Masquerade results just like we normally do. Of course, we'll continue the grand tradition of in-depth stories about different aspects of Comic-Con, all constructed of words, sometimes exceeding two or three syllables.
There's just one thing missing, and that's you! With social distancing and Comic-Con fans sheltering in place, we have no way of getting photos. How could we do Comic-Con Today without our ever-popular photo galleries? That’s where you come in.
This year, we are soliciting photographs from the heart and soul of Comic-Con, our fans. Just send in photos of you and your friends and family exemplifying the best spirit of Comic-Con@Home to NewsletterPics@comic-con.org. Email submissions will open at midnight Pacific time, Tuesday, July 21 (no early birds) and remain open until 6:00 PM Pacific time, July 25. Please include a caption with submissions and the name/handle of the photographer. Do bear in mind that captions are subject to editing, and photos subject to cropping.
Let’s face it: 2020 has been rough for everybody. This is your big chance to be featured in Comic-Con Today and gain geek cred galore. We look forward to seeing you.
