The gauntlet has been thrown ... will you accept the challenge?

Dust off your sewing machine, gather your materials, and get your creative juices flowing. The ComicCon@Home Cosplay challenge returns for 2021 with more categories and an exciting addition!

The Details: The Comic-Con@Home Cosplay Challenge kicks off on Friday, July 23, 2021, at 9:00 AM (PDT) and ends Sunday, July 25, 2021, at 4:30 PM (PDT). Participation is elementary, my dear Watson! Simply snap a few photos and share your cosplay via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Pinterest during the submission times and dates listed above.

Tag us and include  #ComicConAtHome2021Cosplay  so we don’t miss your entry. And this year we’re working with Pinterest to create a Comic-Con@Home 2021 Hub, where your cosplay could be featured!

All ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate.

Our favorite participants will be selected from the following categories:

  • Best Make-Up

  • Best Mashup

  • Best Group

  • Best Use of Household Items

  • Most In-Character / Best Likeness (Canon Character)

  • Best Classic Comic Character (before 1985)

  • Best Modern Comic Character (after 1985)

  • Most Humorous

  • Best Duo

The announcement: Drum roll please … Last year, a few of our fans included their pets and we loved it so much we created a Pet Cosplay challenge just for them! Dress up your dog, cat, pig, or hamster and show them off under #ComicConAtHome2021Cosplay. But don’t worry about specific categories for Spot or Miss Fluffy, we just want to see them dressed up!

The Fine Print: Cosplay creations must be family-friendly. No nude or lewd images. No advertisements or promotions. Images only. No videos,  please.

Fame (but no fortune) awaits you, as some of our favorite animals and humans will be shared on our social media feeds and the official ComicCon@Home website! Click here to view our  ComicCon@Home 2020 Cosplay Challenge gallery.

Good luck, we can’t wait to see your designs!
