Give the Gift of Education: Engage Imagination & Inspire Learning at the Comic-Con Museum!
The Comic-Con Museum invites you to participate in our annual Giving Tuesday Campaign! Help us Give the Gift of Education.
All proceeds from this year’s day of giving will support the development of the Comic-Con Museum Education Center. Pop culture offers an opportunity for educators to meet learners where they are. We aim to show how a love of pop culture—whether it is Harry Potter, Star Trek or Wonder Woman—can excite, educate and challenge while harnessing individual passions into creative impact and personal development. With your help, we can move closer to the development of five classrooms in the Museum that use the power of pop culture to engage imagination and inspire learning in visitors of all ages.
As part of this campaign and in the spirit of the season, the Comic-Con Museum is excited to launch a new feature. Starting next Tuesday, December 3rd, you will be able to gift Comic-Con Museum Charter Memberships to your friends and loved ones. Not only will this gift provide bragging rights for being an early supporter of the Museum, but it will help raise funds needed to build our Education Center.
About the Charter Membership Program
The Charter Membership Program is an opportunity for individuals interested in supporting the Comic-Con Museum on a deeper level, and it is a crucial piece to the Museum’s development. As early supporters of the Museum, Charter Members are part of a community of passionate fans dedicated to spreading the awareness of comics, popular arts and the educational opportunities that are the hallmarks of San Diego Comic-Con and its Comic-Con Museum.
If you are not a Charter Member signing up is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Visit comic-con.org/museum to learn more about our mission to bring the Comic-Con Museum to life in San Diego for years to come!
About the Comic-Con Museum
Comic-Con International (Comic-Con), a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit is opening the Comic-Con Museum in San Diego’s Balboa Park. This new cultural attraction will encourage an appreciation of comics and related popular arts through exhibitions, performances, educational programs and outreach efforts.
The Comic-Con Museum will be a year-round operation, manifesting the same values of accessibility, curiosity and appreciation that have driven the organization’s world-famous conventions. Through exhibits that refresh frequently and consistently, and programs that offer opportunities to learn, experience, and participate, the Museum will continue to build awareness and appreciation for the valuable contribution of popular culture. The Museum will be visitor-focused, whether a Comic-Con fan or a member of the general public and will provide engrossing experiences that engage curiosity and inspire learning.
