Returning Registration, Baby.
Buzz. Buzz. Buzz. There’s a message coming through Fury’s state of the art, two-way pager: Returning Registration for Comic-Con 2020 will be on October 12, 2019!
The Expo Logic waiting room will open at 8:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) for registration code authorization. It will close for entry at 9:00 AM PDT sharp so make sure you arrive sometime before 9:00 AM PDT, but no need to rush! Make some toast for yourself and Goose while you wait .... just don’t cut the bread diagonally. And be warned – if you don’t authorize your code before 9:00 AM PDT you risk getting locked out of the badge sale, and not even blowing a hole through the roof of a Blockbuster will get you in.
To participate in Returning Registration, you’ll need your personal registration code and the link to the Expo Logic waiting room (cheek swabs and AOL passwords not required). Both the link and your code will be sent to you via email and will be available in your Comic-Con Member ID account under the “Registration Info” tab at least 48 hours before the sale. Unlike Fury’s upgraded pager, you will need to stay within this galaxy and be opted in to our correspondence to receive the email. Your registration code will keep out imposters who silently infiltrate and anyone else not eligible to participate in Returning Registration.
Thinking about buying badges for others? Well, you can purchase badges for up to three people – yourself included, but not required! For example: If Yon-Rogg has plans on planet Hala during Comic-Con 2020, but wants to help purchase for his other Starforce members, great! He can buy for Ronan, Korath, and Minn-Erva instead. But remember, each team member must have their own valid and confirmed Comic-Con Member ID and must also be eligible to participate in the sale. If Ronan did not have a paid attendee badge for Comic-Con 2019, Yon-Rogg won’t be able to purchase a badge for him during Returning Registration.
We caution against joining a badge buying group with the Kree or anyone you don’t know very well (including the Skrulls). Comic-Con and members of S.H.I.E.L.D. are unable to take a closer looksie and intervene on your behalf should someone post your registration code or personal information online. Remember, each registration code is good for one entry into the waiting room only.
There are more eligible attendees than badges available during Returning Registration and not everyone who enters the waiting room prior to 9:00 AM PDT will be randomly selected for a registration session, even if you’re a space soldier wearing a rubber suit. If you are unable to purchase a badge during Returning Registration, you will be able to participate in Comic-Con 2020 Open Registration at a later date.
And another thing! If it’s all blank and you have no memory of last year’s sale, use this crystal! It contains extracted memories that will help guide you through Returning Registration.
Now you’re more equipped to participate in the badge sale! You know you’re glowing, right?
