SAM: Storytelling Across Media Returns … @Home!
That’s right! Returning for the third year in a row is Comic-Con’s newest show, SAM: Storytelling Across Media. Except this year, we’re doing it all virtually!
SAM@Home is a FREE event that will be held on Saturday, October 24, via the Comic-Con YouTube channel (see the complete schedule here), from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. If you’re looking for entertaining, educational, and kid-friendly things to do from home this weekend, you won’t want to miss this one-day symposium for aspiring writers, artists, gaming enthusiasts, and those interested in the art of storytelling. The best part is the admission is FREE!
This year’s SAM special guests include Shin and Yuko Kibayashi, Sam Maggs, Marc Guggenheim, Jim Lee, and Matt Forbeck! Look for their spotlight panels in the complete SAM@Home programming schedule here.
At SAM, you’ll be treated to panels that explore the art of storytelling in various media, including comics, gaming, television, movies, and more.
A few things that are new for this year: Comic-Con will be hosting a live chat on the Comic-Con Discord server discussing the panel topics covered throughout the day, as well as a live gaming schedule with Magpie Games. For the full Games schedule click here. Also new for 2020, following the last panel at 6:00 PM we’ll be doing a live viewing party of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World on Scener. Plus we have exclusive SAM merchandise available for purchase!
