SAM: Storytelling Across Media Returns Oct. 26!

SAM: Storytelling Across Media at the Comic-Con Museum, Saturday, Oct. 26

Returning for the second year in a row at the Comic-Con Museum in Balboa Park is Comic-Con’s newest show SAM: Storytelling Across Media.

This FREE event will be held on Saturday, October 26, at the Comic-Con Museum, 2131 Pan American Plaza, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. If you’re looking for entertaining, educational, and kid-friendly things to do on Halloween weekend in San Diego, you won’t want to miss this one-day symposium for aspiring writers, artists, gaming enthusiasts, and those interested in the art of storytelling. Following the last panel will be an all-ages reception, free to attendees, with light refreshments and a chance to mingle with panelists, guests, and other pop culture enthusiasts. Admission is FREE, but online registration for panels is encouraged. Seating in all symposium events is limited.

At SAM, you’ll be treated to panels that explore the art of storytelling in various media, including comics, gaming, television, movies, and more. This year we added a tabletop gaming demo section and a miniature paint-and-take activity. For the industry professionals and those looking to break into the field, we brought in some favorite Comic-Con and WonderCon events including Comic Creator Connection, Gaming Creator Connection, and portfolio review with IDW Publishing.

There’s much more info in our new SAM section of this website, including the schedule with full panel descriptions. Please click here to visit it!
