SuperVolunteers, assemble!

WonderCon@Home

Last year, we issued a call-to-action among our crew of volunteers asking them to choose an organization in their area and sign up to help out for a day, a week, or whatever worked for that organization. It was such a huge hit (and made us so proud!) that we are projecting the Bat-Signal for WonderCon@Home 2021!

Between now and  March 27, 2021, we are inviting you to support other non-profit organizations in your area by participating in our  SuperVolunteer Challenge!  Suggestions include: food banks, animal shelters (foster a dog, a cat, a rabbit, or a hamster!), vaccine centers, Meals-on-Wheels or other senior services, Habitat for Humanity, Red Cross ... the possibilities are endless.

After you complete your first volunteer assignment, send an email to wcvolchallenge@comic-con.org telling us a little bit about the experience, along with a few photos. Be sure to include your Comic-Con Member ID in the email.

For those outstanding volunteers who complete the challenge, we will send you a downloadable  SuperVolunteer badge in recognition of your volunteer service! Please allow 3 – 5 business days to receive an email reply with your badge. Proudly display your  SuperVolunteer  badge knowing you made a difference during these tough times.

We will be sharing some of your experiences in our SuperVolunteer Series, posted weekly leading up to WonderCon@Home. Make sure to bookmark Toucan – the official blog of Comic-Con and WonderCon – so you don’t miss any of the posts!

We can’t wait to see and read about your experiences!
