Comic-Con International Registration Update
You’ve got a friend in Comic-Con! We’ve created this checklist to ensure that you and your computer are prepared for the Expo Logic waiting room and registration process. Follow these important instructions, and you’ll be golden!
Not sure if your browser is compatible?

CLICK HERE to check your current settings. It is very important that you avoid using multiple tabs, private browsing, or incognito applications during your registration session.

Be sure to use a laptop or desktop during Returning Registration. Comic-Con cannot guarantee that mobile devices, including iPads and other tablets, will behave as expected.

You should also make sure that you have a reliable and secure internet connection, so that you are not accidentally disconnected from the waiting room. Don’t use the Wi-Fi at Shady Pines!

Which browser are you using?

The Expo Logic waiting room and badge registration system have been tested on the browsers listed below:

  • Firefox: Any Version
  • Google Chrome: Any Version
  • Internet Explorer: Version 11
  • Safari: Version 7 or later
  • Microsoft EDGE: Any Version
Do you have JavaScript and cookies enabled?

No, not chocolate chips cookies Rose. These features are usually enabled in the default configuration of most modern web browsers – so most likely the answer to the question is “yes.” However, double-checking is always a good idea!

What about power saving settings?

Blanche may need her beauty sleep, but your computer shouldn’t! Make sure to check your power-saving setting before you enter the Expo Logic waiting room. Avoid letting your computer go into sleep mode or powering down during your registration session.

Picture it - Sicily, 2017 ... Two friends, Dorothy and Rose, each get into the Expo Logic waiting room ...

Rose, in a moment of excitement, posts a photo of her session online as soon as she enters the waiting room, not knowing that her person registration code is embedded in the URL. Do not post pictures of your waiting room or registration session online, or someone (probably Sophia) will be able to use your code to enter and your session will expire.

As they say in St. Olaf, “Don’t post any photos of your registration session online!”

Are there any other ways I can gain an advantage in the Expo Logic waiting room?

Luck, patience, and cheesecake will be your most powerful weapons during the Expo Logic badge registration process, and these tech tips will certainly help. If you are selected for a registration session, read through each step carefully and don’t click through too quickly.

And don’t worry, the process from waiting room to confirmation page isn’t nearly as confusing as the layout of 6151 Richmond Street!

Good luck and thank you for being our friend.
