 Before embarking on your comics and pop culture quest at Comic-Con 2023, remember that your badge holds the power to access everything, including your Bag, Books, and Lanyard (BBL), essential items for your journey.

Badge Pick-Up

If you plan to collect your badge in person, kindly ensure that you have the following items with you: a valid photo ID and your badge confirmation (either in your email on your phone or printed out will work). Upon arrival, please proceed to the Registration Area located upstairs in the Sails Pavilion at the San Diego Convention Center. Your badge will be issued to you there. For detailed operating hours, please refer to our Badge Pick-Up page.

Access your Comic-Con 2023 badge confirmation by following the instructions below:
  1. Log in to your Comic-Con Member ID account
  2. Hover over the “Account” tab until a dropdown appears.
  3. Select “My Badges” from the dropdown.
  4. Click the yellow “Details” button on your Comic-Con 2023 badge order.
  5. Click the “Resend Confirmation” button.

In case you don’t receive your confirmation within 30 minutes, please ensure that you have chosen “Yes” for “Do you want to receive marketing emails?” by checking the “My Account Information” section on your Account Dashboard.

Bag, Books, and Lanyard Pick-Up

Are you prepared to immerse yourself in the excitement of Comic-Con 2023? With your badge secured and the event floor familiarized, all that remains is to accessorize with a lanyard to display your badge proudly, a spacious bag for your exclusive merchandise, and informative books to guide your journey. 

Upstairs in the Sails Pavilion of the Convention Center, you can conveniently collect our Events Guide, Quick Guide, Comic-Con lanyard, and bags. Here’s everything you should keep in mind for a seamless pick-up experience:

Badged Members

WHERE:  The Badged Member Bags, Books, and Lanyards (BBL) distribution area is located upstairs in the Sails Pavilion near Ballroom 20. 

HOW: Enter the Badged Member Bags, Books, and Lanyards line from the Ballroom 20 Lobby via the Lobby E or Lobby G escalators.

Badged members, please do not attempt to pick up your bag, books, and lanyard in the Attendee Badge Pick-Up area. 

WHEN: Your books, bag, and lanyard will be available for pick-up on the day of your earliest badge, at the times below:

Tuesday, July 18*: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday, July 19:  10:00 AM– 9:00 PM
Thursday–Saturday, July 20–22:  8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Sunday, July 23:  8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

* If you’d like to pick up your bag, books, and lanyard ahead of time, all badge types are welcome on Tuesday! Just make sure you don’t leave these items at home—you won’t be able to pick up replacements.Remember, steer clear of long lines and wait times by avoiding the Registration Area in the Sails Pavilion as well as the Lobby B/C escalator.

Still Need To Pick Up Your Badge?

If you need to pick up your badge on-site, you will be able to pick up your complimentary bag, books, and lanyard in the same area you receive your badge! Please review our Badge Pick-Up page for hours and other important information.

RFID Stickers are Stickin’ Around!

Your badge consists of two components: a plastic badge holder with an attached RFID sticker and your daily or 4-Day paper name badge(s). It is essential to wear and visibly display your complete badge at all times during the event and at any official Comic-Con activities. 

A complete badge comprises both a paper name badge and the plastic holder with an attached RFID sticker, and if either component is missing, your badge will be deemed invalid. 

Those who possess damaged or tampered badges/RFID stickers will be denied access to the San Diego Convention Center. In case your RFID sticker gets damaged or removed, please bring your badge confirmation, the damaged badge/sticker, and a valid photo ID to the Badge Solutions Desk located upstairs in the Sails Pavilion upon your arrival at the event.

Badge Privacy Updates

Our privacy policy has remained steadfast, still allowing exhibitors to scan your badge, which contains an encoded number enabling them to access your full contact information. If you wish to withhold your details from exhibitors, refrain from having your badge scanned or sharing it with others. 

Comic-Con solely shares its mailing list with select parties essential for event production, such as registration and housing companies, and does not engage in renting, selling, lending, or providing it to any other entities.
