Comic-Con 2026’s Early Bird Hotel Sale
A key advantage of the Early Bird Hotel Sale is that all participating hotels are located along the complimentary Comic-Con Shuttle route. Although they are not in the downtown area, these hotels offer an easy and budget-friendly way to get to and from the convention. Booking early also gives you the chance to secure a special rate before the General Hotel Sale opens.
When: November 2025–April 2026*
Hotel locations: Non-downtown areas.
Reasons to book: Access to the complimentary Comic-Con Shuttle, the best deals, and early booking.
Something to keep in mind: Early Bird hotel reservations are non-refundable.

Comic-Con 2026’s General Hotel Sale
All participating hotels, including those in Downtown San Diego, are available in our General Hotel Sale. This sale will take place at a scheduled day and time that will be announced soon! All registered badge holders will receive an email from Comic-Con prior to the sale with information about how to participate.
To increase the likelihood of receiving our emails please add donotreply@comic-con.org to your safe-senders list. You can also “allowlist” the email or the entire domain name (comic-con.org) to help prevent our messages from going to your spam folder. Since some email providers may still block our emails, be sure to check our Hotels page for updates. We don’t want you to miss out!
To participate in the sale, guests will first enter a virtual waiting room. Everyone in the waiting room will be assigned a random place in line and guests will be moved to the hotel reservation page based on this order once the sale begins. On the hotel reservation page, guests can search for available hotels, select their preferred option, and book rooms in real time!
When: COMING SOON!
Hotel locations: Downtown San Diego, Mission Valley, Airport, etc.
Reasons to book: Hotels closest to the convention center, wider selections, and deposit-based reservations instead of full prepayment.*
Something to keep in mind: Rooms will sell out quickly, and inventory is not reserved until all contact and credit card details have been submitted.
