Third Wave of WonderCon Guests Announced

WonderCon 2024 welcomes Ashley Eckstein, Terry Kavanagh, Jonathan Maberry, David Mack, and Dustin Nguyen as Special Guests, in addition to ten previously announced guests!

Ashley Eckstein

Ashley Eckstein has been widely recognized as an actress, author, designer, entrepreneur, host, inspirational speaker, and producer. Most known for originating the character of Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars, she voices Ahsoka in projects such as Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars: Rebels, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Ashley founded the fashion and lifestyle brand Her Universe, and her designs can be found at Disney Parks worldwide. Ashley is currently serving as co-creator, executive producer, and star of a new audiodrama for Disney Publishing.

Terry Kavanagh

Terry Kavanagh worked at Marvel Comics as editor and writer from 1984 to 2003. Titles he edited include Marvel Comics Presents, Excalibur, and Namor. He also wrote many titles: Avengers, Iron Man, Web of Spider-Man, X-Man, and X-Men, including the 1993 “Maximum Carnage” storyline that ran through the Spider-Man titles. Terry pitched the return of Spider-Man’s clone, which formed the basis of the long-running maxiseries The Clone Saga. He also wrote and edited comics for Zenescope Entertainment (2017–2019) and consulted on Marvel Entertainment’s streaming series The Marvel Hero Project. He currently runs a bespoke comic book company, INKSMTH.

Jonathan Maberry

Jonathan Maberry is a New York Times bestselling author, five-time Bram Stoker Award winner, four-time Scribe Award winner, Inkpot Award winner, comic book writer, executive producer, and writing teacher. He is the author of 50 novels, 150 short stories, 22 graphic novels, and 20 nonfiction books, and he has edited 24 anthologies. His vampire apocalypse book series, V-WARS, was a Netflix original series. He is the president of the International Association of Media Tie-in Writers, and the editor of Weird Tales Magazine.

David Mack is the Emmy-nominated, New York Times bestselling author and artist of Kabuki, creator of Marvel’s Echo, writer of Marvel’s Daredevil, and cover artist of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods, Norse Mythology, Anansi Boys. and Jessica Jones. He is also the artist on Netflix’s Jessica Jones opening titles and the Captain America: The Winter Soldier film titles.
