You Can Draw with Katie Cook 018: A Happy Little Bonsai Tree!

There’s some movie out right now that’s made a certain tiny tree dancing in a pot VERY popular … we can’t show that tree in particular, so instead of THAT tree, here’s a happy little bonsai tree!

Step 1

First up, grab your pencils and draw a pot.

Step 2

Now add in a trunk. Make it funky! Bonsai trees can be all kinds of weird shapes.

Step 3

Foliage and face! (That means leaves and … um, a face).

Step 4

Ink! Use a black pen or marker to go over your lines … then erase your pencil lines.

Step 5

Color … and turn on your favorite ‘70s soundtrack and imagine him dancing!
