About Your Badge

Your badge comes equipped with RFID technology—this is by way of the little sticker on the back of your badge holder. The RFID sticker on your badge matches the access displayed on your paper name badge. Please tap your badge to the RFID gates when prompted as you enter and exit different areas, such as the Convention Center entryways and the Exhibit Hall. Don’t forget to tap your badge when you exit an area to ensure a smooth re-entry! If for whatever reason your badge scans red, we’ll be able to help you at our RFID gates, Badge Solutions, or one of the three RFID Help Desks located in lobbies A, D, and G.

Proudly wear your badge on-site to enjoy full access to all events and programming! It is essential to wear and visibly display your complete badge at all times during the event and at any official Comic-Con activities. A complete badge consists of a paper name badge and the plastic holder with an attached RFID sticker. If either component is missing, your badge will be deemed invalid.

While small decorations, like pins, on badges and lanyards are allowed, make sure they don’t obscure the artwork image on the badge or cover any important information needed for quick security checks. If decorations obscure your badge, it could delay entry into the event and you may be asked to remove them by security. If the decorations obscuring your badge are not removable, your badge may need to be reprinted, which could incur a cost. Wear your badge to all events, and venture onward to experience everything Comic-Con has to offer!


Complimentary Items

This year, our complimentary registration pin sports a Captain Toucan in honor of Comic-Con: The Cruise, which will be sailing in early 2025. Available only at the convention,  it’s a must-have for every attendee. You’ll receive this pin when you pick up your complimentary bag, book, and lanyard!


Already got your badge in the mail?


Use the Lobby G or E escalators to head toward the Ballroom 20 lobby. Follow the signs for the Bags, Books, and Lanyards distribution area for Badged Members in the Sails Pavilion. This area will be open during the same hours as Badge Pick-Up.

Picking up your badge on-site?


Enter the Lobby C2 door and go up the escalators to access the Registration area. You’ll receive your complimentary items after you pick up your badge.
