The Gaming Creator Connection is back at Comic-Con 2025 and ready to help you level up. Whether you’re breaking into the biz or already in the game, this is your chance to connect with seasoned pros and soak up expert advice across three key areas.
Organized by professional game developers including a former executive director of the International Game Developers Association and Global Game Jam, this unique event is run by Comic-Con and packed with mentorship, insight, and creative fuel.
Art/Design
Artists of all kinds (general, character, environment, UI, etc.)
Narrative
Writers, narrative designers, editors, world builders, etc.
Business
A range of topics pertaining to indie start-ups, funding, marketing, pitching skills, etc.

Participants will have around 10–15 minutes to speak with a mentor and will be able to rotate between mentors in their field of interest in order to maximize the amount of feedback.
How to Participate:
Applications are now open for individuals who would like to participate in the GCC. Please email the following information to gcc@comic-con.org for a chance to participate.

*While we will likely have professionals with backgrounds in other areas beyond these three (e.g., programming, localization, etc.), we can’t guarantee their availability.
GAME PITCH REVIEW
Got a game idea you’re itching to share? Step up for the Game Pitch Review, where you’ll have 5 minutes to pitch your concept to a panel of seasoned game developers. They’ll give you helpful, honest feedback to sharpen your pitch and take it to the next level.
Sign-ups happen on-site and spots are limited, so make sure to get there early.
TO PARTICIPATE
Ready to pitch? Make sure you come prepared. The Game Pitch Review moves fast, and we want everyone to get the most out of it. If you’re not ready when your turn comes up, you might miss your shot.
Here’s what you’ll need to bring:
1. A well-practiced, 3–5 minute verbal pitch that clearly explains the game concept, how it’s unique to the marketplace, why it would be worth funding, etc.
2. Any hardcopy or digital visuals (images, video, etc.) that help illustrate the concept and viability of the idea (you must bring the device on which you will display the visuals).
3. Be imaginative in your pitch and be passionate; imagine you’re making a very quick pitch to receive funding for your idea.
