Come by the theater to learn from a panel of experts as part of a visit to Comic-Con Museum. This discussion is organized by the Center for Comics Studies at San Diego State University. Free museum admission to the first 40 college students with a current ID.

1:00–2:00 Comics, Bande Dessinée, Fumetti, and Manga: Comics in Many Forms—A conversation about comics in their many forms. Vin Deighan (aka Frank Quitely), Laurence Grove (director of the Stirling Maxwell Centre for the Study of Text/Image Cultures at the University of Glasgow and president of the International Bande Dessinée Society), Antonio Ianotta (University of San Diego), and Van Tarpley (San Diego State University) join moderator Elizabeth Pollard (co-director, Center for Comics Studies at SDSU) for a discussion exploring the similarities and differences of English-language comics, French bande dessinée, Italian fumetti, and Japanese manga. Free museum admission to the first 40 college students with a current ID. The Theater, Comic-Con Museum.
