COMIC-CON 2026 PRESS BADGE REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

  • Outlet Key Contacts of approved press outlets may now register for Comic-Con 2026 press badges.
  • Press badges registered by Thursday, May 7, 2026 will be eligible for advance shipping.
  • Press members registered by Wednesday, July 8, 2026 will be included on the official Comic-Con 2026 Press List.

  1. コミコン会員IDアカウントにログインする
  2. On the Press Outlet Dashboard, click the green “My Outlets” button to get to your “Allotments” page.
  3. In the “Comic-Con 2026” section of your “Allotments” page, your approved press badge allotment(s) will be displayed.

    • If you have their Member ID and Last Name, click the yellow “Register” button and follow the instructions.
    • If you DO NOT have their Member ID and Last Name, return to your “Allotments” page and click the yellow “Copy URL” button. (This URL directs to your outlet’s dedicated registration portal.) Share this copied URL with your outlet member(s) to complete their press badge registration. Your member(s) will need their Member ID credentials and Press Title to complete the registration process.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Limit the sharing of your copied URL only to the members you have approved to attend Comic-Con 2026 on your outlet’s behalf. Press Badge Registration for your outlet will close once all allocated press badges have been registered. Again, this URL is exclusively for your outlet’s press badge registration.

If you have completed your registration by Thursday, May 7, 2026, your badge will be eligible for advance shipping. If eligible, your badge will be shipped to the “Primary Shipping Address” that is listed on your Member ID as of Thursday, May 7, 2026.

バッジ・ピックアップ

As the convention approaches, we will send out barcode confirmation emails. If you do not receive your badge in the mail, bring your barcode confirmation email and a valid photo ID to the Press desk in the Sails Pavilion of the San Diego Convention Center to pick up your press badge. Badge pick-up hours will be listed on the barcode confirmation.


We are no longer considering any additional press applications or requests.
There is no on-site registration for Comic-Con.

We require that applying press must demonstrate a minimum of 18 months of continuous coverage. We accept press operating in fields such as comic books, book publishing, animation, film, television, gaming, and other popular arts-related industries.

It’s important to note that individuals covering solely on social media platforms or community forums do not meet our criteria for a press badge. Influencers are not currently eligible for press badges unless they also operate their own website or channel, outside of social media platforms, that provide coverage of popular arts-related industries. 


New Press and Returning Press with a Verification Status of “NOT QUALIFIED” must submit the Press Application to be considered for press badges to our conventions. Returning Press can view their Verification Status via the “My Outlets” section of the Outlet Key Contact’s Member ID account. The Press Application for Comic-Con 2026 is now closed. The deadline to submit was Friday, January 16, 2026.

Once the OKC has successfully submitted the Press Application they will receive an emailed Order Receipt from donotreply@comic-con.org with the subject “Press Application Submission – WonderCon and Comic-Con 2026.” 

Please allow 4 – 6 weeks for processing and review. All press applications are processed in the order in which they are received. The OKC may forward their Order Receipt to pressreg@comic-con.org if they have not yet received any notification about the application after the processing and review time.

After the Press Application has been reviewed, the OKC will then receive an email with SDCC’s decision on the outlet’s approval to attend our convention(s) as Press. The Verification Status of the outlet will be updated accordingly in the “My Outlets” section of the OKC’s Member ID account.

Press outlet verification approval status is valid for two consecutive years, under the discretion of SDCC. Freelance press members’ verification approval status is only valid for the year approved.
