 Portrait of Bob Clampett by Milton Caniff Denis Kitchen Receives 2009 Clampett AwardCongratulations to Denis Kitchen, recipient of the 2008 Bob Clampett Humanitarian Award. The Clampett was awarded to Kitchen as part of the 2009 Eisner Awards held Friday, July 24, 2009, at Comic-Con International: San Diego. The Clampett Award is named after the beloved animator and cartoonist Bob Clampett, director of countless popular Warner Bros. cartoons and the creator of Beany and Cecil. The Bob Clampett Humanitarian Award is given out each year at a gala ceremony in conjunction with the Eisner Awards. The Eisner Awards are held under the auspices of Comic-Con International: San Diego. Past winners of the Clampett Award:Forrest J. Ackerman (1984), Robert A.
