Cancellation and Refund Policy
Badges for Comic-Con and WonderCon are not transferable and cannot be exchanged. If you’d like to request a refund on your badge purchase for Comic-Con or WonderCon, please follow the instructions below.

Beware of companies selling Comic-Con badges. Comic-Con badges are only available from San Diego Comic Convention. Third- party sellers are not authorized. Attendees using these badges will not be admitted to the convention.
THERE WILL BE NO OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE A BADGE ON-SITE at Comic-Con.
Badges for Comic-Con and WonderCon are not transferable and cannot be exchanged. All refunds are subject to a 10% processing fee and must be submitted by the refund deadline. Your badge purchase is non-refundable after the deadline, and any requests submitted after the deadline will not be processed.

Comic-Con and WonderCon reserve the right to change their Cancellation and Refund policy at any time, without notification. San Diego Comic Convention (SDCC), organizers of Comic-Con and WonderCon, reserves the right to refuse admission, to refuse service and/or to cancel/revoke your Comic-Con Member ID and/or badge at SDCC’s discretion. No refunds for WonderCon 2025 badges or Comic-Con 2025 badges will be given after the deadlines indicated below.
SDCC Badge Refunds
You must register for a Comic-Con Member ID in order to be entitled to purchase and register a badge. Children (age 12 and under) may not register for a Comic-Con Member ID. Everyone who intends to purchase, apply, or register for a WonderCon and/or Comic-Con badge must have a valid and confirmed Comic-Con Member ID. This includes attendees, volunteers, professionals, guests of professionals, retailers, panel key contacts, exhibitor key contacts, staff, and members of the press. You must also have a valid and confirmed Comic-Con Member ID to redeem a complimentary pass or purchase code. If SDCC determines that you purchased or registered for a badge, but did not register for a Comic-Con Member ID, SDCC has the right to cancel your badge and refund any amounts paid, less the 10% processing fee and the handling fee, at SDCC’s sole discretion.
Self-Refunds
Recommended for: Refunding your entire badge order
In some cases, you may be able to refund your badge directly from your Member ID account. If the refund window is still open and you wish to refund your entire badge order, we encourage you to log in to your Member ID account and locate your badge order under “My Orders.” If the “Refund & Remove” button is visible, you can process your refund without submitting a refund request form. All refunds are subject to a 10% processing fee.
Please Note: You will only be able to refund your entire badge order. If you only need to refund a portion of your order, please use the refund request form for further assistance.

Complete the refund request form below to request a refund for your WonderCon 2025 or Comic-Con 2025 badge purchase.
The request form is for WonderCon 2025 and Comic-Con 2025 only. Please allow up to five days for your refund to be processed. All refunds are subject to a 10% processing fee.
Pending refund requests are at the sole discretion of SDCC. Sending a refund request does not guarantee you a refund.

WonderCon Badge Refund Policy
The WonderCon 2025 badge refund deadline is February 13, 2025. Your WonderCon 2025 badge is non-refundable after this date. Any requests submitted after this date will not be processed.
No refunds will be issued for any convention prior to WonderCon 2025. WonderCon 2025 badges are not transferable for use at any other SDCC event. Please note that in some cases, refund requests may not be processed until after WonderCon 2025 is complete.
Comic-Con Badge Refund Policy
The Comic-Con 2025 badge refund deadline is May 8, 2025. Your Comic-Con 2025 badge is non-refundable after this date. Any requests submitted after this date will not be processed.
No refunds will be issued for any convention prior to Comic-Con 2025. Comic-Con 2025 badges are not transferable for use at any other SDCC event. Please note that in some cases, refund requests may not be processed until after Comic-Con 2025 is complete.
SDCC Cancellation Policy
By registering for a paid or complimentary Comic-Con or WonderCon badge you agree not to sell, trade, transfer, or share your complimentary code, badge confirmation, or badge. In the event that SDCC determines that you have violated any of these badge policies, SDCC has the right to cancel your badge(s) and keep any money paid by you.
Confirmations and/or badges that have been sold or provided by anyone other than SDCC will not be honored by SDCC. You must wear and display your badge at all times while on-site and at any official SDCC event. All badges are the property of SDCC and must be relinquished to SDCC upon request. SDCC reserves the right to refuse admission, to refuse service, and/or to cancel/revoke your Member ID and/or badge at SDCC’s discretion.
You understand that you must register an individual name for each badge and that each name must match a legal photo ID. If SDCC determines that you have purchased/registered more than one badge in your name for any day, SDCC has the right to cancel your duplicate badge(s) and issue you a refund less the 10% processing fee and the handling fee, at SDCC’s sole discretion.
If you use your Member ID to purchase a badge for a day for which you previously purchased a badge, the original badge you purchased will automatically be canceled and the amount paid will be refunded, less the 10% processing fee and the handling fee, without contacting you.
For example, if you purchased a Friday and Saturday badge during Comic-Con Open Registration and you use your Member ID to register as a professional and/or press at a later date, the Friday and Saturday badge you purchased during Open Registration will be canceled and refunded, less the 10% processing fee and the handling fee.
This policy does not apply to purchasing different single-day badges or upgrades. For example, if you purchased a Thursday and Sunday badge during Comic-Con Returning Registration and you later use your Member ID to purchase a Friday, Saturday, and Preview Night badge, your original Thursday and Sunday badge purchase will not be canceled.
