During Comic-Con 2025, measures will be implemented to ensure utmost safety and security. To achieve this, temporary restrictions will be placed on access to Harbor Drive, located in front of the San Diego Convention Center, throughout the duration of the annual convention. The public will continue to be able to access the waterfront during the event, as shown on the map at the bottom of this page.

The San Diego Convention Center, in partnership with the Port of San Diego and the City of San Diego, are providing information to assist attendees, the general public, and stakeholders about pedestrian and vehicular access, restrictions, and detours during Comic-Con.

The segment of Harbor Drive situated between First Avenue and Park Boulevard will be completely closed off to all forms of vehicular traffic.

This includes cars, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and shared mobility devices such as dockless bicycles and scooters. The only exceptions will be emergency vehicles and ADA mobility devices.

Any exhibitor or attendee with a valid parking pass for the Ace Parking garage directly underneath the San Diego Convention Center will be allowed to drive through. All other drivers will be diverted away from the convention center.

Only badged members (attendees of Comic-Con 2025) may access the front drive, stairs, and surrounding sidewalks of the San Diego Convention Center.

A valid Comic-Con 2025 badge or confirmed registration in hand is required for access to any part of the San Diego Convention Center, including the front drive, terraces, sidewalks, Plaza Park area, or the Ace Parking underground garage during the event times listed below.

To ensure the smooth functioning of the event, these restrictions will be enforced during designated days and times:

  • Wednesday, July 23: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Thursday, July 24: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Friday, July 25: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Saturday, July 26: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Sunday, July 27: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Harbor Drive will reopen to traffic after the hours listed above, or earlier if deemed appropriate by public safety officials.
