The Accounts Payable Specialist, reporting to the Director of Finance, is responsible for supporting the efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions, including vendor payments, staff reimbursements, and event-related disbursements. This role ensures compliance with San Diego Comic Convention (SDCC) policies and financial controls, maintains accurate records, and assists in month-end close activities. The Accounts Payable Specialist also serves as a key point of contact for vendors and staff, providing support for inquiries, resolving issues, and facilitating smooth financial operations both in the office and during SDCC events. This position requires handling sensitive information, with a strong emphasis on maintaining confidentiality and adhering to established protocols at all times

Reporting to the Director of Exhibits, the Exhibitor Sales Specialist supports exhibit space sales, payment processing, and exhibitor relations. Responsibilities include managing inquiries, resolving billing issues, and assisting with exhibitor placement and onsite logistics. This role also focuses on growing exhibitor participation by identifying prospects, securing new business, and maintaining relationships with current and potential exhibitors. The Exhibitor Sales Specialist ensures a smooth and successful experience from initial outreach through event execution, while supporting overall sales goals.

The Programming Office and Museum Assistant, reporting to the Senior Director of Programming, provides vital administrative and logistical support to the Programming Department. In the office, the Assistant oversees Programming Department volunteer recruitment, scheduling, training, and coordination while maintaining departmental records and supplies. They facilitate the distribution of hotel allotments, parking allocations, vouchers, and badging for Programming Department volunteers. At the Comic-Con Museum, the Assistant coordinates panels, ensuring all logistical and technical requirements are met, and assists with volunteer scheduling for museum programs. At SDCC events, the Programming Office and Museum Assistant help with the setup and operation of programming activities, supervise Programming Department volunteers, and ensure panel rooms are properly arranged.

Retail and Ticketing Associates are the primary team members to interface with  museum guests. They welcome guests to the museum, work museum programs and event rentals, sell merchandise and tour tickets, and answer general inquiries about the museum and community services from the visiting public. Retail and Ticketing Associates assist with the daily operations of the museum, including opening and closing, guest relations, sales, customer service, and special events. Retail and Ticketing Associates work to achieve sales and create an exemplary guest experience while promoting the San Diego Comic-Con mission.
