Public Transportation

We recommend using Public Transportation to and from the Los Angeles Convention Center. Los Angeles has a number of public transportation options that get you within blocks of the LACC.

• LA Metro

WonderCon attendees can get to the Los Angeles Convention Center car-free with ease using the city's light rail system, LA Metro.

Both the Blue Line and the Expo Line stop directly in front of the Los Angeles Convention Center at the Pico Station at Pico Blvd. and Flower St..

In addition, the Red, Purple, Blue, and Expo Lines stop at the Metro Station at 7th and Figueroa St., about a 3-block walk to the Los Angeles Convention Center. Metro has free parking lots throughout its system allowing you to park, lock, and ride.

If you don't already have one, you will need to purchase a TAP card to access Metro's light rail system. TAP cards are available at every Metro light rail station as well as at Union Station. The card is $1, and a day pass is $7. Best of all, LA Metro's light rail system operates into the wee hours of the morning on weekends.

Check the LA Metro website for more info on parking lots and fares or use their Trip Planner by clicking here.

• DASH Bus

The DASH bus system provides frequent, inexpensive and convenient bus service in downtown Los Angeles and in 27 neighborhoods all across the City of Los Angeles. Each route is designed to serve travel within that neighborhood and to connect to other regional transit services such as Metro Rapid and local routes, Metrolink and Metro rail lines. The fare is only 50 cents a ride, 25 cents for seniors and the disabled. Access cardholders travel free. Both the Downtown F and the Flower/Pico lines will get you within blocks of the LACC. Visit the DASH website for more information.

Amtrak California

If you’re coming from anywhere in California (or the USA, for that matter!), remember there’s also the option to come by train with Amtrak California. It’s great for a day-trip or if you’re staying the entire WonderCon weekend. Amtrak California arrives in Los Angeles at Union Station, which is a quick 5-minute Metro ride to the Los Angeles Convention Center on the Red Line, heading west (get off at 7th St. Metro Center, a 3-block walk to the LACC).  Click here for schedules, fares, and more info!
