How do I sign up for a Comic-Con Member ID?
All professional applicants must have a valid and confirmed Comic-Con Member ID. Click here to create your Comic-Con Member ID. A Member ID is free and available to all adults and juniors (ages 13 to 17) with a valid email address.
I already have a valid Comic-Con Member ID, but I have never attended as a professional. How does my Member ID change from an attendee member class to professional member class?
If you have already submitted an application, your member class will change to a professional member class if you are approved. You do not need to sign up for a new Member ID if you already have one. Your existing ID will automatically change to a professional member class once you are approved.
How do I apply as a professional for WonderCon Anaheim 2014?
To apply as a professional for WonderCon Anaheim 2014, you must fill out an application and submit the required verification materials by March 28, 2014. I am a Comic-Con trade professional, can I attend WonderCon Anaheim as a professional?
Yes, both trade professionals and creative professionals are eligible to register for WonderCon Anaheim professional badges. Unlike Comic-Con, WonderCon Anaheim professional badges are complimentary for both classes.
My professional verification status is “Not Due”, how to I register for a WonderCon Anaheim badge?
To request a badge for WonderCon Anaheim 2014, simply log in to your Comic-Con Member ID account, select the "Professionals" tab, and click the WonderCon Anaheim 2014 “Click here to register your badge now!” link. Be sure to register your guest badge(s) when you submit the online request form. You cannot return to the online registration system at a later date to request guest badges. Online badge registration will close - without notification - once capacity is reached.
How do I indicate whether I am applying as a creative professional or trade professional?
You do not need to specify which type of professional you are applying as. Comic-Con’s verification team will make the determination and notify you after reviewing your application and verification materials.
Why do I need to send in verification materials?
As a nonprofit organization, Comic-Con International/WonderCon Anaheim is able to provide a complimentary professional badge to individuals who meet the published guidelines and who provide verification materials and proof of employment with qualified job titles.
Can I fax my professional application and verification materials?
No. All applications and materials must be sent via email or post mail.
I am a well-known comic professional. Why do I need to send proof of my work in the industry?
Comic-Con International/ WonderCon Anaheim processes over 12,000 professional applications every year. With this kind of volume, we need to employ temporary staff who may not necessarily be familiar with your personal credits.
How often do I need to send verification materials?
Comic-Con International/WonderCon Anaheim requires that all professionals resubmit verification materials every three years with continued qualifying work.
What if I cannot provide verification materials supporting my work?
If you cannot, or choose not to, provide the required verification materials, we suggest you purchase a badge through general attendee registration. Your application as a professional cannot be processed if you do not provide verification of your work as a professional in comics or related popular arts. Listing your work projects on your application is not considered verification. You must submit qualifying verification materials to support the projects on your application.
When will I receive a response to my application?
Please allow 3-4 weeks to process applications and verification materials. All applications are processed in the order in which they are received. If you do not receive a response within 4 weeks, please send an email to email@example.com that includes your Member ID. Also include the date your verification materials were mailed and describe the materials you submitted.
I sent in my application and verification materials over 4 weeks ago, but have not yet received a response. Who should I contact?
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm that we received your application. WonderCon Anaheim strongly recommends that you email your professional application and verification materials. Should you choose to mail in your application and verification materials, we suggest that you send them via FedEx, UPS, USPS certified mail, or any service that provides a delivery receipt. WonderCon Anaheim is not responsible for lost applications and/or materials that were sent without tracking or delivery confirmation.
I sent in my application and was approved for WonderCon Anaheim 2014. Now what?

Can I bring a guest to WonderCon Anaheim?
Each verified professional may request a complimentary WonderCon Anaheim 2014 badge for up to two guests until capacity is reached. Guest badges are limited, and not all guests can be accommodated. Junior guests and children (age 17 and under) are free with a professional badge and do not count toward your guest limit. Junior and child badges must be registered onsite at the WonderCon Anaheim Professional Registration Area in Exhibit Hall A. Be sure to register your guest badge(s) when you submit the online badge request form. You cannot return to the registration system at a later date to request guest badges.
Does my WonderCon Anaheim registration entitle me to a Comic-Con 2014 badge?

When does WonderCon Anaheim online professional badge registration close?

I was approved for a WonderCon Anaheim 2014 professional badge but I am unable to attend. Can I transfer my professional badge to a friend?
No. Professional registration is a courtesy and your WonderCon Anaheim professional badge is non-transferable. You may not transfer or sell your WonderCon Anaheim professional badge. A professional badge has no monetary value and you are not entitled to a refund of any amount for your complimentary professional badge.
I would like to attend a certain panel at the convention, where do I enter?
A WonderCon Anaheim 2014 professional badge does not give you early access, special access, or assigned seating to any of our panels or programming rooms. You must wait in the same line as the general attendees.
