As a nonprofit organization, Comic-Con/WonderCon Anaheim is able to provide a complimentary professional badge to individuals who meet the published guidelines and who provide verification materials and proof of employment with qualified job titles.
Comic-Con/WonderCon Anaheim process over 12,000 professional applications every year. With this kind of volume, we need to employ temporary staff who may not necessarily be familiar with your personal credits.
If you cannot, or choose not to, provide the required verification materials, we suggest you purchase a badge through general attendee registration. Your application as a professional cannot be processed if you do not provide verification of your work as a professional in comics or related popular arts. Listing your work projects on your application is not considered verification. You must submit qualifying verification materials to support the projects on your application.
All applications are processed in the order in which they are received. Applications are generally reviewed 3-4 weeks after the closure of the application period.

Should you choose to mail in your application and verification materials, we suggest that you send them via FedEx, UPS, USPS certified mail, or any service that provides a delivery receipt. Children (age 12 and under) are free with a professional badge and must be registered onsite at the WonderCon Anaheim Professional Registration Area of the Anaheim Convention Center. Please note that the child must be present to receive a badge. Be sure to register your guest badge(s) when you submit the online badge request form. You cannot return to the online form at a later date to request guest badges.

No. Professional registration is a courtesy and your WonderCon Anaheim professional badge is non-transferable. You may not transfer or sell your WonderCon Anaheim professional badge. A professional badge has no monetary value and you are not entitled to a refund of any amount for your complimentary professional badge.
A WonderCon Anaheim professional badge does not give you early access, special access, or assigned seating to any of our panels or programming rooms. You must wait in the same line as the general attendees.
