WonderCon 2023 Professional Badge Registration is now OPEN! There will be no on-site professional registration. Online professional registration will close on March 10, 2023 or when capacity is reached, whichever occurs first.
If you have already submitted an application and are approved, your member class will automatically change to a professional member class. You do not need to sign up for a new Comic-Con Member ID if you already have one. Your existing Member ID will automatically change to a professional member class once you are approved. If you have not previously applied, or are DUE to re-verify, you will not be eligible to register as a professional for WonderCon 2023.
COMIC-CON AND WONDERCON are pleased to provide complimentary badges to professionals who are active in the creation of comic books, graphic novels, digital/webcomics, comic strips, and animation, as well as genre-related illustrators, and science fiction/fantasy authors, and book editors. This includes roles such as: writer, artist, penciller, inker, colorist, letterer, and animator. Qualifying work must be provided to indicate a professional’s involvement in these projects.
We cannot guarantee professional badges to those who fall outside of the categories listed above. However, all other professionals and executives who are employed in entertainment & popular culture fields (film, television, toy & apparel design, and other related industries) are welcome to apply, and we will consider each application on an individual basis. Not all professionals in these industries can be accommodated, and access to badges and guest badges may be limited.
As part of our commitment as an educational non-profit organization, Comic-Con and WonderCon welcome educators and librarians to attend as professionals. If you fall under one of these professional categories, please feel free to apply!
All professional badges are limited, and not all applicants who meet the guidelines can be accommodated. Professional verification and approval is ultimately at the discretion of Comic-Con.
Professional registration will close on March 10, 2023 or when capacity is reached, whichever occurs first. There will be no on-site registration.
WonderCon 2023 badges registered by February 15, 2023 are eligible for advance shipping! Professional badges and any associated guest badges cannot be shipped directly to the professional. Guest badges cannot be shipped directly to the professional guest.
A domestic address must be saved as the “Primary Shipping Address” in the professional’s Member ID account by February 15, 2023 in order to have their badge(s) shipped. Badges will begin shipping 3-4 weeks prior to March 24, 2023. Badges will be shipped in batches, so please do not be alarmed if a friend or family member receives their badge before or after you.
We cannot ship to international addresses. Badges not shipped in advance for any reason must be picked up on-site.
