Welcome to the WonderCon Anaheim 2018 Program Schedule!
WonderCon Anaheim programming is as robust and diverse as ever with panels including comics publisher presentations, movie and TV series events, animation, workshops, seminars, and much more. There is something to geek out about for everyone! On Friday and Saturday, the program schedule extends into the evening hours and includes special nighttime programs, including some hilariously geeky interactive panels. On Friday evening, catch the exclusive World Premiere of the new WB Animation and DC Universe animated movie Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay, which screens in the Arena, adjacent to the Exhibit Hall on the ground floor of the Convention Center, starting at 7:00. On Saturday night at 8:30, the WonderCon Anaheim Masquerade returns for its 15th year, also in the Arena. As always, your WonderCon Anaheim badge gets you into these events for free, while seating is available.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PROGRAMS AND EVENTS AT WONDERCON ANAHEIM:
All event and program rooms have limited capacity as set by the fire marshal. Even though your badge is needed to get into all events, it does not guarantee you access to any event if the venue has reached its capacity. Rooms are not cleared between events.
Most autograph signings are limited—your badge does not guarantee autographs at any signing event.
This is the Programming Schedule for WonderCon Anaheim 2017.
For last-minute additions and changes, please check the schedule signs posted in front of each room’s entrance, or the schedule here on the WonderCon Anaheim website, or in the WonderCon Anaheim section of the Official Comic-Con app. This year’s programming rooms include the Arena (on the ground level); Rooms 207, 208, 209, 210 (home of the Comics Arts Conference and workshop programs), 211, 213AB, and 213CD (the new home of the ever-popular Fan Culture panels), all on the second level of the Anaheim Convention Center, and Rooms 300B and 300D on the third level. A new addition this year is our presence in the shiny, new Anaheim Convention Center expansion, in the North Building. Programming will be available in Rooms North 200A and North 200B, covering comics, movies, animation, television and all the topics your nerdy heart desires! WonderCon Anaheim also brings you a special one-day only DC programming event in Room 156.
Room 206B features Portfolio Reviews by various companies, including Her Universe, IDW, Dave Olbrich, Illustrators of the Art Directors Guild, Aspen Comics, Valiant, and our Game Pitch Review. New to WonderCon this year is Room 204C, which is the home for the Comic Creator Connection and the CCC Pitch Review on Friday and Saturday. It will also house the Gaming Creator Connection on Saturday, which premiered at Comic-Con 2017 and is now making its WonderCon Anaheim debut. Ashley Eckstein brings us the Her Universe Fashion Show: Junior Design Camp on Saturday, which will teach junior designers how to bring their ideas to life with a step-by-step tutorial of the fashion design process. And that’s not all! Sunday in 204C will host the Writers Coffeehouse at WonderCon. Led by author Peter Clines (Paradox Bound, Ex-Heroes), the Writers Coffeehouse is a bunch of writers sitting around talking about writing.
WonderCon Anaheim’s Games are on the Exhibit Hall floor, at the back of Hall C, with nighttime games at our headquarters hotel, the Hilton Anaheim, next door to the Convention Center, in the Pacific CD Ballroom on the second level.
Room 303AB is the home of the Los Angeles International Children’s Film Festival featuring films for kids of all ages all weekend long. Room 205AB showcases the best in Anime screenings during the daytime; at night Anime screenings continue at the Hilton Anaheim, El Capitan AB (Level 4) at night.
Please note that all programs have limited seating and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Rooms are not cleared between programs. Names appearing in bold in these descriptions are scheduled to appear on stage. This schedule and people appearing on panels are subject to change.
